That makes me feel much better thanks. I hope to make it so I can match a few faces to names.

It has been a long and tiring day, one filled with the excitement of visiting with old friends and SO MANY new faces. I was blown away by the turn out. I believe the final count was 19 968's all in one place, that is a simply astounding number for a laid back afternoon with nothing asked of us except the opportunity to chat about our cars. As always, I am delighted with the conversations on so many topics and how well everyone gets along, as if we've all been friends forever. These are the days....

Before I leave you tonight, I want to share 2 photographs...the most important subjects...the cars...and the people...

Jay

nice pictures, thanks for sharing. you forgot one of the other " most important things " in addition to the cars and the people ; we all know ( and can now see ) that behind every great person is a great wine barrel , or two . biggrin.gif

Hey Mark...top still down! Got the car tucked back inside at my office about 11:15pm and just arrived home to see the first two preliminary photos. For those of you who checked in on the webcast, it was intermittant, so sorry about that. I think we were able to broadcast the important stuff - flash's announcement, Pete's Firehawk engine discussion and Max's "tool time".

Fantastic to meet all the new faces...this was such a great turnout for a casual event. I did put a bug in Pete's ear about making it an annual event same weekend as a last horrah before the busy holiday time sets in. I think RSBarn deemed it successful as I saw quite a few people picking up some goodies! I have my own list of things I was able to speak with both Pete and Max personally so perhaps Santa can swing by there on his way to my chimney.

Goodnight! (Well, actually good morning)

A big thanks to The RS Barn!
Pete and Max you guys have really done it this time.

I think the independents of the auto industry could learn a thing or two from RSB about hospitality, how to greet it's customers, educate them and bring them togeather. What great event.

As always, it Was great to see my old friends and make so some many new ones.

Lorri and I really had a great time, and I hope all the newer folks did as well.

What a success!!!

I have to concur with the above statements. A first class event. Too bad I had to cut it short because of needing to do stuff at home. It was good to get out and run the 968 to redline a few times, meet some great folks and see some really nice examples of the breed.

Not one M030 car ... what's up with that?

Being my first 968forums\RSbarn event I am simply amazed at how great a group of people you all are. I will definately not let anything get in the way of attending the next gathering.

Thank you Pete, Max, Jay, Darrell and everyone that had a hand in putting this together.

My Amazon Green MO30 coupe is still at paint shop. The car is ready but I had to go to Conn friday to pick up a stranded 968 cab.
We're trying a new paint treatment that is a flexible clear coat that resist chips like Armour fend
Glad everyone had such a great time-so did I
I think this should be an annual event!!!!

+1

I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps a bit earlier in the year in 2010 as the weather will be a bit more predictable. Really upset about missing this one.
