Weather looks good for you guys. My friend just lost the clutch on her 968 cab and Pete is "rescuing" it today so maybe, if you want a side project, you can put her new clutch in!!! Have a great time and don't forget those pictures.

Guys-

I am 45 min from the Barn, but alas, I will be in Bethlehem, PA, for a big tailgate at the Lehigh vs. Lafayette game. My oldest friend from nursery school is coming in from Louisville, KY. I will have a drink and smoke for you all and raise my glass to the 968! Or maybe I will be raised upside down over top of something....

Anything less and I would be there. Have a blast and try to catch the drool that will come from both sides of your mouth when you are in his shop. So many cool parts and mods, and Firehawk and Turbo S in the same place at the same time.

Hey Jeff, thanks for sticking your neck out over on the little 968 site. Every person who has ever met you knows that you are "Switzerland", they just can't get out of their own way...if you get banned please know that you are always welcome here.

It would be a terrible shame if you could not be able to comment on the 3 posts a week on the other site that describe our wheels incorrectly, huge loss. Otherwise, all the good stuff is here (adding by subtracting as wise man once said).

Let's not forget that Pete extended the invitation which I think is great. I just made the post. Hopefully, someday, all the 968ers can get together and have a good time, at least that is what I'm hoping for. There just aren't that many of us.

Just finished washing in the dark. If it wasn't for the detail day at Darryl's I would definately be embarassed, thanks to him I'm only mildly annoyed at my car. (Can't wait for retirement so all I have to do is wash and polish....).

Plan was to wash, clay-bar, and wax this week. Bought the supplies but the weather didn't cooperate.
I'll be washing tonight after dinner in the dark and taking some abuse from the better-half for this crazy behavior.
We'll see how many spots I miss tomorrow.

I am trying to make the meet at the Barn tomorrow - my car will not be as detailed as everyone else's, and it will look all of 170,000 miles old. Is there parking in the rear of the building for high mileage daily drivers?

Don't get too ambitious - my wash was commercial for $8. Maybe we can have a "highest mileage" auction, winner gets whatever goodies Pete will be showing. (FWIW, I'm also over 170,000 miles. Allowing for a brief period when my odometer was out of order - implied the mileage by keeping track of fuel use - I'm getting towards 180,000.)
