Sad to say I have a 968 that I need advice on selling. I have been out of touch with the site for 18 months or so. Any thoughts on good places to list or market it and Price and price thoughts would be most appreciated. I have owned it for about 4 years. Its a excellent example of a factory MO30 Gaurds Red Coupe with only 29,000 miles. I hope to find it a good new home. I am going to go to the Porsche Parade this year and could possibly bring it, although I plan on bringing another Porsche as I would like to keep the miles down. Send me a PM or cvanders@san.rr.com I am in San Diego.

Sigh, why couldn't you car be midnight blue .. I would have flown to San Diego tomorrow to look at it .
Personally I think a wide spectrum approach ( if cost permits ) is best ; Ebay, Autotrader, Panorama,
Craig's list, you have already covered this forum, R.L. forum, etc...
Assuming the car is in perfect condition inside and out as well as mechanically, I'm guessing an M030 with only
29k miles should be so much in demand that at the very minimum it should bring $ 25 k, and perhaps significantly higher.. not even sure asking $ 30k would be unreasonable if the car is in near-showroom condition. Just M.O.

Ax-
As I am sure you know, the market right now isn't necessarily the best for selling. But, if your car is in excellent conditionas you say, you stand a good chance of hitting your sell price. M030's are rare, even more so with such low mileage.
You should post some pictures and information. A good place to start advertising it is right here in the 968Forums. Of course, you have the other normal outlets: Ebay, Autotrader, local publications, Craigslist, etc.
For a value, it is hard to say considering you did not provide additional details or photos. Depending on options and condition, you could be anywhere between say 13k and 24k....?
No matter what, good luck and sorry to hear you're potentially leaving the fold.

Heck, for 13k I'll buy it and just spend $ 12k to paint it midblue !

Thanks for the advice, I just posted my 968 on craigslist. I could only ad four photos and they look low in saturation and quality. It also has an LSD and new clutch. I would do better pricing for someone here, as it would be better appreciated.

Ax, that is a beautiful 968! I emailed a copy of the craigslist ad to a friend of mine who is looking to replace his 928. Hope you hear from Doug B. soon. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

Ax, Good luck with the sale! I posted a link in various websites as well before I knew you posted here. Worth all of your asking price.

Hey guys,
Appreciate all the support. I have had several interested parties. We'll have to see what happens in the next week or so.

My friend is trailering my car. I think he would be up for it though. (he went to Hershey-he is building quite a few boxster specs and really know his way around the cars) I am flying out and making a mini vacation with the wife.

Oh boy, a caravan of pickup trucks pulling trailers! That sounds like a blast............not for me, thanks. Several of us will be driving up together from Albuquerque. Will wave when we go by, Bob Blackwell.
