I recently got a new point and shoot digital cam and Im surprised at how fast the shutter works. I was able to get a clear pic of a wheel moving about 70mph, no blur what so ever. Yours also did a good job.
thanx for sharing.

btw, re the last two shots : what is that ?
i was thinking it's either a mega meteor shower we all missed 'cause we went to sleep too early given all the wine tasting followed by the after-dinner tequila and whiskey or, you left your camera inside my engine and it captured the sparks the valves were making when the timing belt snapped ?

These are the stairs that go down to the beach. few minute exposure.

This is the beach with a long exposure so you see movement of the earth/stars in star trails. 5 minute exposure or so.

This is a 20 minute exposure with the camera pointed straight up at the sky. Lots of star trails, but you can see the light pollution from the 'city' in the bottom left of the picture.

Lol, is that white whine at the breakfast table?
Must have been champagne but the place only has wine glasses . That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-). Seriously, what the hell are we drinking and at what time of the day, because that sure looks like breakfast food on the plates . Was it brunch ?

Speaking of sparkling wine, which is what we legally must call Champaign if it is not produced in Champaign, France, I recently had a bottle of Navarro Winery's sparkling Gewurtztraminer and it is a knockout. Not produced every year unfortunately, but when they do I'm buying a case. Well worth a try, but probably only available through the winery because of it's limited production.
