a new feature has just been added - we now have live chat - just click on the button above, and you're in

meet new friends - get a chance to hear more than just the quick posts on a thread - hook up for a beer - get together for a drive - whatever

have fun and enjoy

found a glitch - it does not seem to show you out until quite a while after you've left - odd - i'll look into that

Hey Flash, what ever happened to the spell check? I notice new goodies above the reply block but I miss the spell check. Everything is looking good by the way!!!!! Sorry to be sort of off topic.

From what I can see there isn't an option for a spell checker in this latest version of the forum software. The spell checker was always a 3rd party add-in. The feeling these days is that most browsers now have a spell checker built in so there isn't as mush interest in building another one. For Internet Explorer you can get IESpell http://www.iespell.com/download.php and for Firefox it already has one built in and for those of you that must use fruit for you computer of choice, I can't help you there. I'm a real man, I use Microsoft software, not that girly fruity stuff... ;)

I thought someone said you could see who was in the chat room someplace on the index screen. I don't seem to have that - is there something I need to do, or have I misunderstood?

I just tested, and now I see where it appears - and only if the chat room has an occupant. If no one is in the chat room, the line doesn't appear on the index page.

a lot of people will figure it out over time, and i think we'll see quite a bit of usage - i just wish it was a pop-up screen, rather than a browser screen

ahh, the forum's own "eharmony.com" :D although, given our respective 968s being the near equivalent of a love interest, a match made in heaven, etc not sure it'll do any good to load the driver profile and search for " new relationships " - it's bound to be another 968 :o

Just played around with the chat...click on the icon at the bottom of the chat window called "Float or Unfloat" That will toggle the chat to a window and vice versa.

I also played around with the sounds...that is until my cat, who was sitting very peacefully on my lap, heard the cougar and ran away!

Did chat with Michael (sasilverbutllet) so it does indeed work!
