I'm in.

If this won't work for all I'll be happy to host a BBQ at my house Saturday. Bring an appetite and a set of clean shorts - we have some decent canyons and back roads through the horse ranches

Come one guys, let's get this done! Clear your schedules for a day. If FLASH can do it we all can!

Lord, you can see your number 2 favorite color...

I have to convince my mom on letting me go.
She is obviously parinoid due to the accident. :(
I'll ask today but the odds are not good.

guys I have the 10th reserved for the funrun, but if we postpone that's ok too.

This event is more fun with more cars so. . . if the count is low we should reschedule. A big-as-possible gathering is kinda the point. no need to rush, if we need a bit more time we should be flexible. imo.

at the extreme risk of upsetting a couple of people who went out of their way to schedule this weekend (and somehow i can never please everyone), i am postponing this event

let's talk schedules now and pick a day that works better - the owner gets back on the 15th, and i can nail down a better date with him then

to make it up to you all, i will also connect this to some more wineries for a multiple winery tour day - there are some really good ones, and we've done that before up there - tons of fun

sorry about the inconvenience, but in the end, we will have a LOT more cars and a bunch more fun

Hey, I just washed my car for the event this Saturday! Great, now I wasted $ 11.99. :P
All right, I'll let it go this time, but know that I'm sipping a lot more wine at the rescheduled gathering :(

I'm flexible to set aside any weekend starting with the May 24th one, trough the rest of the summer and the fall for that matter ( except August 9/10 and 16/17 ).

Looking forward to a not-too-distant-future event re-do ! :) B)

I'm going to try to be nice about this but, IMO once a date has been selected it should be stuck to. This date was selected months ago and people had plenty of time to plan around it accordingly. I appreciate Flash' efforts but quite frankly last second changes don't fly well with me.

Well F*CK. I spent all day Sunday (8am to 8pm) washing, claybaring, polishing, and waxing my car. Great. It's what I get for becoming vain like everyone else, I shoulda just stuck to the wrenching like I always have and had a tip top ugly car like last year.

Well Paso is just 20 minutes away, and I hate wine, so I can spare the hour for lunch on whichever day we decide to have this. But I'm not washing the thing again.

lol - arash - don't feel bad - i have cleaned my car more times than i have driven it - seriously - usually gets one before and one after each drive

i suppose i deserved a bit of this though - after all, i am the one who continually pounds people about attending events

those who are griping though should remember just how many times i tried to juggle things around THEIR schedules - i seem to remember bouncing dates quite a few times for a couple of people

i will make it up to everybody though - plans are already in the works

No probs. Burgers, dogs, steaks, fish, and who knows what else will be on the barbe Saturday afternoon. Not much of a wine drinker though so byo. Anyone who wants to venture to the Encinitas area is welcome to come and oogle my new old ride. I _might_ even wash it - nahhh.

I'm committed on Friday night and since we aren't going to Paso on Saturday I'm going to push to finish my winery business plan so I can turn it in on time.

Bah humbug. Ha, I was just being sarcastic. I mean yeah I'm ticked but whatever! The stupid thing needed to be washed anyway, paso or no paso. And at least for the week I was able to drive a car that instead of making me feel like a normal person who doesn't wash their car, I felt like a tool in a bright red Porsche with big wheels. Yay!

I'm neither in norcal nor in socal... for me a "local" event is the paso run... lol. But fish.... that sounds really good! I think I'll get some fish tacos tomorrow. Dang I want one right now. I think I should go to sleep and wake up at lunch time. Yes.
