make sure to check the CALENDAR and LOCAL EVENTS sections regularly for things going on in your area - this is a great way to meet fellow members and have even more fun with the car
we have plans to add more new features to the site soon, and increase the usefulness and functionality for all - it is, and will be, an ongoing and expanding process, as we continually strive to provide what the members want
if you have any thoughts, suggestions, or ideas, please feel free to contact the admin at the address at the bottom of the page

well, since announcing the site changeover, to date, we have had 117 new legitimate members join us
Thats a tremendous growth. I recall not to long ago when there were only about 2 topics going on on any given day. So those fresh voices are warmly welcomed by me also. Now, don't be shy about posting.

Flash, how many members are there? It seems to me that there are more members than 968 left in the world............?
I've often wondered the same thing...BUT, unlike PCA, you don't have to OWN a 968 to join the forum!!

Rhudeboy said it best...new voices (and faces) are great...I look forward to meeting new members at the various events.

2808 in total..
What a waste of time for them. And for the moderators too.

i do know that a lot of the registrations are spammers - i have been sifting through them one by one, as i find time, and deleting them - painstakingly slow process though
the good news i that the new validations process i put in place has stopped them all but entirely

Probably the last real registered member number minus the total registered number of users. That would give you a approximate number of accounts that have been deleted.
Yep thats correct. But probably there is a story to tell by the moderators I suppose?
Otherswise there are 528 pages with 10 members on those pages each....

I noticed today that (now) there are about 11 members online - and 53 guests...I clicked on the link to see who is doing what (which I didn't know you could do) because I was curious what all these guests were doing - as it turns out all 53 were viewing the Blogs - of which there are few and yet generating a surprising amount of interest.
Just curious how this works - the whole guest thing (are they just web search spiders crawling around) and why they would get stuck in the blogs...

Probably a bit off topic but didn't want to start a whole new thread...

It's actually probably spammers in the Blogs, there is a slight issue with this version of the blog software and spammers. The later versions include spam prevention measures for the blogs.
