Ok All.

Basically the only option is 17 inch wheels. Apart from that she is standard. Only has a broken glove box so the door folds down.

Here is the 2 best shots I have. It has been raining a lot so not many outdoor shots.have not taken an outdoor shot.

Bought so that I can go to the Nurburgring on weekends (about 100 Kms away) I am to embarrased to drive the wife Merc wagon around now.

Will load some better shots when I can

Can city and state be part of signing up for the site? That way if you want to be on board we would have that info.

lol - that's what i wanted to do, but got resistance from one of the partners

maybe i should start a poll and see how we do?

something like "would you be ok with listing your city and state in your profile?"

i really think that such a listing would be very helpful to the members - each member could still opt out of being able to be contacted via email, and no other information would be needed or shared, but at least that way there would be the potential for more people getting together

i stand corrected - initially i had suggested that everyone needed to re-log in with the changeover, and at that time would be prompted to enter their city and state, with an explanation as to why

it was this approach to which the objection was raised, not the concept of the city state listing

I think people should be free to choose if they want to post their location or not. If they don't want to, they obviously don't care about group activities as much as others, so why would you want to force them into participation?

i didn't want to force them to do stuff either, but i think a lot of people would if they were approached - my thought is that having such a list would create the opportunity

I don't see a real issue with putting the city (or even just area) that you live in your sig. It's not your full address so someone using it to find you would be hard (just try to find say Flash's car when all you have is L.A. thats a lot of area to cover).
My sig says SE Wisconsin; thats about +/- 200sq miles, good luck finding my house, but thats enough for a fellow 968er to say they will be in the area and ask about a GTG.
The issue of blocking the Lic in photos is a bigger problem than this, when I was an auto tech I've had to use this method to fine the owners and it is scary easy.

yeah, but most of the guys who would post a pic would show up at an event, and then their plate would be known anyway, so................

i am working on a format that should work for us - just trying to figure out how to get the information together easily

should provide for some real fun this summer though, and afford the opportunity for a lot of people to make a lot of new friends
