Jay put a nice photo in Miles Thread. There were many pictures taken and I'm sure the people will posting more as the drag home. The day started rather early since most of us were outside before 7am this morning after a long day for most of us the day before.

Don, I know these take a lot of planning so thank you, thank you, thank you!
RJ, kudos on driving here from TEXAS!
Flash, you car is amazing and to trailer it here from CA, wow!
Kathy the wine and cheese added extra fun and was very thoughtful.
I bought some t-shirts, a metal Porsche sign, some crested valve-stem caps, and a key chain.
My face is sunburnt or maybe windburnt because I had a "spirited" ride home.
Steve

Re the Kevin Bookman prints - I had a discussion with him about a group buy. I'll be starting a separate thread with some photos of the prints and t-shirts he can supply. So, have just a modicum of patience, and we might all be able to enjoy.
That's very cool. They really are beautifully rendered and I think a lot of folks here would love them.

A few more. Again, special thanks to Don for all of his hard work putting this great event together. Also, thanks to all the old 968 hands who went out of their way to make us newbies feel welcome.
Now to install that chip and strut brace!

Here is a quick overhead pic of Friday's wash/shine and judging. I think we picked up a few more cars later that evening and another couple on Saturday. Anyone have a grand total? I think I counted 41 overall. Is that the most at one time/place?
I hope to have all my pics posted somewhere soon.
Thanks again to Don and all the attendees for making it a successful event. I just enjoyed seeing all the P-cars at the swap meet parking lot...very cool indeed.

And thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this weekend such a success. I'm sure it was like herding cats, but you all did a spectacular job. Couldn't have happened without you.
MANY MANY THANKS to everyone who came from near and far (California and Texas and so many other places).

It was awesome, from my vantage point at the back of the pack, to see 50 968s in the parade of cars ahead of me, all with blinkers on, driving on the roads to the swap meet...amazing!!! It made me feel proud to be part of this group. It was a kick to see heads turning and admiring gazes of passersby. This would never have been possible without so many of you coming from so many places...thanks for an indelible memory!
Thanks to the sponsors who so generously donated to our door prizes and the event...awesome! And thanks to our guest speakers and the Central region PCA hosts who contributed so much to our 968 event as well.
I have never experienced such comraderie in my life with so many people who share a simple common interest...thanks everyone for a truly enjoyable and memorable weekend.
For those who can make it next year in New Mexico, it is absolutely worth the trip. Thanks for taking it on for next year, Bob Blackwell!

I also have an important announcement. This is the first Celebration at which I made it through Virginia in both directions WITHOUT getting a speeding ticket. I love the state but for some reason the police there really don't love me. This time they let me slide through.
