Monterey is pricey.  $175 is ok with me.  I would prefer it over Salinas because it won't be hot.

The Asilomar in Pacific Grove is nice and large with meeting rooms.

I've camped at Laguna Seca for $50 a night.  It's really roughing it.  The showers didn't

even have hot water.  At night I used a flashlight to go to the restroom as there was no

light.

Any new info on the 2019 WCG? I have tons of scheduling going on and would love to know the current status.

I would be ok with 175 per night over staying in hot Salinas.

Any news?

So I take it, that the 2019 WCG is dead at this point?

Would love to do it, but has no time for the prep. Too much going on this spring and summer. We might have to take time out for a year.

Yes, not sure whether this will happen this year...I hope so.

I suggest everyone on the west coast go to the WCR in southern california:

I am planning to attend with the 968 and there are others bringing non mid-engined non-aircooled Porsches to the event. Last count was 84 participants and 56 cars...if our WCG for 968s happens, I'm planning to attend both events...
