I gave them a courtesy call telling them they had a price with the decimal point in the wrong spot.

I figured this out; it's a "bait and switch" tactic ; you show up to buy this car and they'll tell you it just sold but fortunately they happen to have a low mileage 944 which just became available for $ 42,000. :-)
