i left a message, sent a text and emailed Erni - so far "radio silence" for the last 48 hrs ( they may be traveling though..) I'll drive by his place this weekend and rattle the cage , if he's home

i just extended the block. i had to do it in halves (10 at a time). there are 11 now taken. i hope i don't need more, because by the time i find out, it may be too late.

I haven't mailed my $ in yet as my wife is still on the fence as to whether she's coming along. I'll try to get her to decide this week and send in my check. Either way, me and my '93 Cab will be there.

Tell her she needs to go because I have almost convinced Darlene to "get off the fence" based on the fact that "many other women" will be participating! She may fly down or fly back up to shorten the time away from work (good suggestion from Flash!).

Just sent Sean an email ( " ether.joe " ) had completely forgotten to check with him on this... but he returned from Argentina a while ago and living in the Bay Area again , so that white 968 is in shape to make the trip, no excuses for him, LOL ! Heck he might even be willing to serenade all the ladies ( wait, did I just say serenade ?! ..what is this the 1950s ? ) - he's a versatile musician and who knows, flash can even produce..since he won't be busy much with anything else..;-)

i just did a quick count, and if everybody shows up that i think might, we could have 41 people and 19 968s. that would make it the biggest event on the west coast, ever.

p.s. - we already have 9 confirmed coming from the east coast, and 6 from the northwest corner

so, for those of you from out of town, there is no excuse to miss what looks to be the best 968 event ever.
