with just over 2 weeks to go, i hope everybody has looked at their brakes, tires, and all that, and made sure they are up for the run. you'll need them in good shape.

weather is showing sunny but cool, highs in the upper 60's. dress accordingly.

I'll have some extra torque on hand in my car, I'd be happy to give you a tow to get that SC like feeling while your driving.

I'll have the SC in my car soon enough ( though it won't be by Paso time ) and see for myself just how much difference that extra torque makes, it's just that so far no one has proven crazy enough to keep up at the speeds to which I take this NA puppy.. actually I take that back, one of our own NorCal ( in a Boxster S at the time ) followed me for a good couple of miles or more at speeds north of 140 on a rural highway on the way back from Paso, so there are other crazies out here

lol - anybody can go fast in a straight line. heck, i've done over 200 on I-5. let's see how it goes where it counts. let's see if those cars are pulling away from you coming out of a corner.

My mom is in the hospital at the moment. Something to do with a pancreatic infection. Not a good thing at 86! We were already scheduled to visit my parents next weekend, so I hope that will help perk her up. I hope it does not affect our trip to Paso...

Going on Saturday to a friends place in Lynden, WA to install some of the D1R components (chassis brace, strut tower brace, lower brace). If time permits, I will change the brake fluid.

"whoohoo" my a** ! that just sucks.. way too hot. upper 60s would have been simply PERFECT. ( although.. still heck of a lot better better than the 102 we had four years ago ).
