I had posted my 968 for sale a couple of months back, however my front end was clipped by a truck lift-gate only a couple of days after listing it. The damage was strictly cosmetic (front L fender and bumper cover replaced - I have pics from the accident scene) but due to parts availability, it was out of commission for almost 2 months.
On a positive note, the car received about 75% new paint and looks brand new. I have it listed on Autotrader.com with updated pics and would be happy to take/forward along some more if interested.
The link to the ad is: http://www.autotrade...332227474&Log=0. As the ad says, I would strongly prefer it go to an enthusiast. I live in Manhattan and rarely drive, but the reason for the sale is the car is simply not practical for me as my only vehicle.
I have most of the service records, but below is a brief recent history.
At around 95+K miles the following work was done:
- Complete tune up: included new spark plug wires and plugs, distributor cap, rotor, air filter, oil filter and fuel filter
- Brake fluid flush with Ate super blue racing fluid
- Clutch was serviced with new disc, completely lubed
- Balance shaft belt and associated rollers
- Complete front engine re-seal which included upper and lower balance shaft seals and o'rings, crank seal and cam seal
- New cam chain (heavy duty version) and tensioner pads
- New valve cover gasket and gromets
- Transmission fluid flush
New timing belt at roughly 97K, new rear tires at just under 98K. Car has just over 98,100 now.
I don't check my mailbox on this site too often, so please email me at oren09@gmail.com if interested...
Best regards,
Oren
