WOW! It looks like u guys and gals had a great gathering. I am so sorry Charl and I had to miss all the events this year as timing just wasn't right for us to get away. I have excepted a position on the board at our local Metro PCA region, plus family things and Easter all got in the way. I know we would have enjoyed seeing every one and the collection of beautiful 968's. Don your collection has to be some thing to see, neat models. Hopefully next year we can join all the events and see every one. Have a great summer everyone-enjoy the ride!

i finally had a minute to download my pics and gather my thoughts

i had a great time - we were off to a bumpy start with friday seeing rain and washing out the wash and shine (ironic isn't it?) - had a great time with the wine and stuff though - look at those cool glasses

the weather cooperated for the fun run, and in fact was quite warm - i wished i had brought shorts and a lighter colored shirt - i actually got some sun - we got separated at one point and the map had a different street name, but thankfully i was with the rolling GPS (walker18) who knew the roads well, so we got back on track rather quickly, and had a great drive the whole way

sunday was cold but it didn't rain, so we got in another good run - the mapping was a bit goofy, and we got lost a couple of times, but we all made it back just fine, and again the scenery was amazing - apparently we got to go through 3 bridges and the rest only got 1 - all because we got lost and separated when we pulled over for a short break - happy accident

it was truly a blast to see everybody - i got a chance to ride in 4 968s over the weekend, and i want to thank everyone who dragged me along - rap, your car is in amazing shape, and very tight - you really got a good one - i got a chance to ride in pure&simple's car too - definitely a track setup

Great time with you all!! Thanks to Jay and Melva for the well planned weekend, and adventurous journeys!
Also, my initial introduction to the three Bob's, and then to Not Bob(Darryl) was priceless.. I really like this 'family'..

I came into a very nice piece of walnut and was able to make a few for people who expressed an interest. I didn't want to run afoul of the forum or trademark police by going all "public". Looks like I've been thrown under the bus, though. My apologies.

Because I completely screwed up and didn't turn at Street Road, because the detour was gone, and then we got lost on Cafferty/Geigal Hill/Cafferty/Geigal Hill......I owe everyone 2 covered bridges.

Yup- was mine. The other two folks who have yellow cabs in the area most likely wouldn't show up at such an event!

As a matter of fact, you and I stood beside it and talked about your SC! I was half tempted to ask you to take it for a spin to try and diagnose a noise or two, but I knew the fun run was looming.
