I just sopke to the Hotel Manager at Homewood Suites

There are 4 reservations for 2 nights, and 1 reservation for 1 night (Saturday), you know who you are...so this looks to be a smaller crowd than I originally planned.

I have heard from a few Locals and several owners who are planning to just come for the day, so I'm estimating around 10 cars and 16 people, though I suspect that we might increase that by a few.

This is a bonus as far as I'm concerned, as I am happier to prepare for and host a smaller event where everyone will get to know each other better.

I'm pleased that the attendees will include long time members and some fresh new faces...we will have a blast!

If you want to make a hotel reservation, today is DEFINATELY the LAST day at the current rate.

If you book after today, please let me know so that I can plan for you

Jay - it is not looking good for me. The Passport office sent me an email today saying that my application was being returned due to being "incomplete". Not sure what that was about but, even if I simply forgot to sign something, I doubt that I can turn it around in three weeks or less. I will keep trying as soon as I get the application back.

Detailed my car with some of the Adams products. Other than the carpet cleaner, was pleased with results. Got to drive and stumbled upon a car show for the SPCA full of Porsches. Nice day for a drive and to meet people in nice sunny weather!

In honor of the Newtown event, I am building 2 new Hasega 1:24 models; one to match the blue 1:43 Starter 968 TRS Le Mans model and the other will be a 968 Turbo S, which I believe is the only 1:24 version of this car.

NEO was going to build a 1:43 Resin Yellow 968 Turbo S (I ordered one) but backed out due to lack of orders - they needed at least 500 orders to start production (hey, they did not build a prototype or provide a picture of the model, what did they expect?) Rumor is that the 1:43 version of the 968 Turbo S has been contracted with NEO by an private party - we will have to wait and see.

So for those coming to Newtown in 3 short weeks, you are going to be the first to see my new 968 models. Would like to bring my 968 Porsche Pedal Car but, as you might guess,space would be a hindrance.

See you on Saturday, May 21st!

p.s. Brian, if you are coming please bring your NZG collection, would love to see them all.
