I think I will be fine, it's a low boost kit so even a fresh head gasket would probably be fine for the next 100k miles.

the wide fire is the same brand as stock, but with a wider ring, so that's a decent defense for it - the cometic is a good gasket too - either one will work - i went with the wide fire, just to have a better seal due to the boost

Oh he would have remembered the tools the exact same time he remembered them last time - when he goes to look for them, can't find them and remembers I have them! Last time it was a Saturday and he couldn't find me!! Tuff call on the head gasket - if you use the widefire and it screws up Karl can say "you insisted on that gasket - not my problem". have to send ano...

Yo bandit - I'm guessing you have read all the head gasket info here and made a decision on replacement? You going with this "new design" gasket?

My potential buyer happens to be the same gentleman i originally purchased this car from. In any event, to be honest...i would rather sell it to someone i feel more connected to. How soon do you think you would be ready to purchase my vehicle?
