Hey Pete. Gene (968gene) and I are best of friends and he and flash both suggest your steel braided brake and clutch hoses. I just installed Gene's rears and liked the quality. Gene said you sometimes have package pricing - how much for all (5) hoses for 93 968? If I need to contact you at the office I'll be glad to. Thanx!

I know, I emailed the'95 110,000 owner which was a great deal, but no response either. I had money for a crotch rocket set aside, but i couldn't pass up this deal on another 968. Hopefully i will get a response, but not counting on it. All are within 30 min of me.

The car is a rear half tube chassis car. Most everything is custom designed, so I doubt that any component is going to translate that well to any other car. The diffuser is nothing more than an aluminum plate with vertically oriented veins that cover the custom “U” shaped fuel tank that surrounds the transaxle.

Sounds like mine was - a large section of the friction plate was missing. Not sure what caused it, but the hard shifting into second was also due to the synchro's being shot as well.
You might have to get the gearbox dropped to see if there is any internal damage in there as well.
