<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->I'll be picking up my license shortly so my daughter and I can go. There's a very small pond within walking distance of our house. Has carp, sunnies, and bass in it. She and I went there probably 6-10 times last Summer. I would bait the hook, cast, and set the hook then she would land 'em. She loves it and is anxious to go this year. I think we'll branch out and go to some other ponds/lakes as well. The nice thing about the pond near our house is we always catch something. May not be the case if we go to one of the reservoirs or larger lakes nearby. I can see her losing interest if we don't catch a fish on any given day. Luckily, here in SE PA, you can almost always find a sunny looking for a worm...
Now, if I could just get her to put the worm on the hook herself, we'd be good to go! Also have to work her casting.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Jim....have her wear rubber gloves. Maybe she will feel better not actually touching the worm. I used Berkley imitation maggots. Maybe try that.
At least you guys get to spend some quality time together. Those are the best memories.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Opening Day..................I caught a 23.5" Lake Trout 4.5 lbs. Great yeah but it now has ruined my season. There is no way in our crummy lakes will I beat that the rest of the year.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Wow!!! Almost 2 feet!!! That is a big one. I can see why you feel the way you do.
