I have a right side "new" headlight assembly. I purchased it from Dave in North Ga. He was rebuilding one of the salvage 968's he had for himself and installed new HL assembly.
Being a new lens it did not match my other HL due to very mild yellowing. With this, I removed the aluminum bracket cradling the lens and exchaged. Bracket is all I needed. Dave had fender painted on the coupe and the edge of the lens has some overspray that should come off with no problem.
New lense, new bulb, but not bracket. $100 Assembly is around $345 from dlr.
Lens I believe is same right or left - the bracket is the part that is different.
