They pop up on ebay every couple months, and on Pelicanparts classified board. There have been at least 10 of them for sale in the past year selling from $500 up to $1200 depending on color/condition/manual/automatic (I was watching for a while).

They also pop up at the Hershey Swap Meet in April, which is where I bought mine years ago for $500.

There were 3 versions of the Saratoga top made for the 944 (both manual and electric were available); the first had 4 big knobs on the outside, the second had smaller knobs and the third version had a smooth glass top (this is the one you want). I cannot see on the Ebay photo which one the fellow is selling but I do not recommend version 1 or 2.

In another newly-started thread here, which refers to a thread over on Pelican parts, it is rumored that Saratoga's OEM will make 100 more tops for $300 each. A Google search for "saratoga tops" will bring up the links first.
