WTB: Passenger front fender
#1

Body shop said they could bend mine back out, then some miscommunication happened and the guy cut it in half to take it off.

Anyone have an extra passenger side front fender lying around that they want to get rid of?

Thanks!

Cut it in half!? Let's hope this trend doesn't continue!

Adam, try Oklahoma Foreign and/or Parts Heaven in Hayward, CA. I've bought stuff from both and they're good. They'll send you pictures of the part before you buy.

He said that the fender gets glued to the body, and he would have needed to use the heat gun to get the glue loose and get it off. He was worried that he would damage the paint on the door and hood in the process of heating the glue, and saw on the repair bill that the insurance co put in for a new fender (although discussion with the shop owner was that he COULD pull it back out to reshape) so he cut it to get it out.

The fender is indeed glued at the bottom of the windshield/top of door according to my body guy. He told me this after some swearing and painful effort trying to get the rubber surround tucked in on a new windshield.
