WTB - Light Grey DS Footwell Carpet
#1

Well, I was able to buy almost all the carpets for my 92 968Cab EXCEPT for the Driver Side floor ahead of the seat! Anyone have a LIGHT GREY section in excellent condition to sell??

The OEM part # is 944 555 055 D42 (light grey front footwell section)

I only need the DS - I was able to get the OEM PS from Porsche. Thanks!!

Here's a photo of the PS carpet for color - this is a very light grey

Does Porsche not make the part any longer? What did that part set you back. I remember way back when they were very expensive.

The Front Section PN is actually for BOTH SIDES - but the factory lists the DS as NLA. I ordered via Sunset and they were great - airshipped the carpet over for $433 - but only the PS arrived! They contacted the factory and were advised that no more DS or complete front sections are available.

this is one of those things where i personally would depart and go aftermarket - you can get the entire car redone for about 500 by almost any upholstery shop, and get rid of the dreaded glue at the same time

I might have to do that - but it would be a shame cause I was able to buy almost the entire carpet set for a very good price from Sunset - they really went all out to try to find the DS carpet for me, and since Porsche kept shipping the PS 1/2 - they called Germany and found out that the entire front section is NLA. Sunset promptly refunded my payment and gave me the PS section as a gift as it took several months to clarify the situation!
