WTB Hood for 968.
#1

The hood on my car looks like a golf ball thanks to our recent hail storm. Have been calling salvage yard for a replacement. Purchased a black one but it sounds like the transportation company damaged it. I am about ready to pull the trigger on a red one but thought I would try here first to see if anyone had a black or dark blue one. My car is midnight blue and I would prefer to have the hidden coats be blue or at least a dark color. I probably am being concerned about nothing as they should sand all of the red off but that might prove difficult on the underside of the hood.

Wanted to bump this back up as I am still looking. I have my doubts about getting the e-bay one here from the UK undamaged. Could not even get one from PA with out it getting damaged.

Bleh, sorry to hear about your car Tim. I can't help with a hood but I can give you consolence in that the hail ate most of the stiching on my convertable top. No really noticable dings in the body so I guess I got lucky. We just got our roof done so hopefully I can get a garage going soon--these St. Louis storms are just too much.
