WTB 968 Cab 6 speed low miles
#1

I am still looking for a car to go with my coupe. I would like to find a low mileage <25k 6 speed. Please let me know or drop me a line. Thank you in advance. Bo Keith

I've got a 6-speed cab with less than 250k - oh, wait a minute, you want one with less than 25k. Ah, what difference does a little "0" make?

Nice - and increasingly challenging - objective. Best of luck. Some time ago there had been some low mileage cabs discussed on this board. Have you searched the archives?

good luck - pretty hard to find - seems like low mileage cabs are a lot harder to find than low mileage hardtops - get your checkbook ready too - you're probably looking at close to $30k for that

it took me 4 months of very active searching, and there were only 2 at that mileage at the time - i've since only seen 3 others - all were very pricey, relative to the market average

you might persuade gene to part with his - he has said a couple of times he might entertain the idea - pretty sure it still has less than 30k on it - also pretty sure you won't get it for less than $25k though

there is another thread about a canandian sale of a 33k car that recently went for nearly 24k - that waas a steal - would have matched your car too

...except that the Canadian car was a Tip, not a 6-speed.

AAK!

good catch - did not see that - well, then i guess it was an average deal - had it been a manual, it would have been a couple thousand dollars more

I don't mind spending the money for the right car. Heck, I spent more than that for Russ Henry's car.

Bo,

Sheez, where you been!?!!

I too am looking for a super low mile cab.

There was a white on blue a while back (not big on blue interiors though).

Give me a call and let me know how your glorious coupe is holding up.

Rader, I will drop you a line this afternoon. Did you take that girl in as a partial trade on the yellow car?

Bodacious. . . I am curious. Why are you not leaning towards newer cabs, eg Boxster or M3 convertible?

I have had a Boxster S and a M3, both great cars. I sold them both within 3 months. I can't explain it but I like the 968. Right now, my fleet consists of a Lotus Elise and my 968 Coupe.

i get it - while i can appreciate the boxster for what it is (and it is a heck of a package) it just isn't the same thing, and we already had an E46 convertable, and the power and handling upgrades of the M weren't going to cut it

i made the same choice
