Since I put the chassis brace in, I haven't used it, but wish I could. I know that Flash retrofitted his (what a surprise) but without some guidance in how to approach that, my engineering expertice would dictate duct tape. So its still in the box. One of these days I'll convince Flash to explain what he did or take a few pics to get me headed in the right direction. If not , I'll sell it to ya.

lol - i thought i did that - i published instructions for the installation, and how to make the parts - i'll dig that up

i'm ordering another screen tomorrow so i can put this one in the white car and have a new one for mine - i'll have to make the parts for it, so i can write that up again if i can't find the instructions - it's pretty simple if your'e handy

So no chance of nabbing your wise. Anyone else? I will be ordering new myself unless someone wants to clean off their shelf. Monday March 7 is my target date. Flash let me know when you order yours so that the guys as Sunset can check "2" in the box. They need to order from Germany as of my inquiry yesterday.

Sunset told me 3-5 weeks from Germany. I sprung for the expedited shipping. Well worth it if my wife let's me put the top down without complaint on the way to Paso Robles next month! lol

So far I've been able to all the install stuff you've made by myself, so if you give me the instructions and a few pics.....I'll get it.

I've had mine for 2 years and I'm pretty sure I have been installing incorrectly the whole time...where do the hooks attach anyway???

When do you extend the little legs and where do they get placed? One of my little legs has been stripped of its protective coating...

I liked my Rx-7 where the wind screen was built in and you just flipped it up...1988 (It also had head rest speakers so you could hear the stereo with the top down)

the little legs go between the seat back and the side of the car

the hooks grab the hinge and pull the unit rearward and down - this is the biggest pain, as it means having to drop the seatbacks to hook them

really crappy design
