Plenty of them out there such as:

Or are you looking to buy one installed? I am interested in top replacements but I understand it's difficult and expensive.

I am not sure I want to attempt it myself.

There is an installer in Aurora that does Miata tops for $175:

I am told generally the 944/968 is much much more than that for an install. I'd surely pay $200 but I do not know if I'd pay $400 vs a DIY attempt.

Having done the top on my daughter's Sebring myself, and having seen what it took to do the top on my 968, I'd gladly pay $400 to have it done.

There was a complete top on .NET a while back, but I think it's gone by now. It was blue fabric and all the struts etc. - the actual *top*.

IIRC, my new (blue) top installed was close to $2K.

About $1,500 here, IIRC?

I have seen those ones on eBay, but kind of question the quality. Would like as close to OEM as possible. I have heard they're a bear to install, so would probably pay someone to do it. Sure would be nice to find a NOS one out there!

I just ordered my replacement fabric top from Convertible Top Guys. I went for the German Sonnenland Canvas. Mine should be installed within the week, provided the body shop can get the paint fixed before hand. I'll report back on how much of chore it was if they do..

I also ordered the boot cover from German Auto Tops on ebay (Hartz Stayfast canvas on that). It looks to be decent quality, but I still need to get the snaps installed before I can say how the fit is.

Unfortunately not yet. The shop I chose has been moving at glacial pace. They've gotten the paint sorted out now, I think. So maybe the top will go on by next Friday.

I hope.
