I love my Greimann grill. Much better than the OEM plastic. When you curb the front, you just kinda bend it back.

Dave, come back!

I have the upper, but I know the Greimann lower is unobtainium.

If someone has one "laying around" let me know.

I should have got one of those when I had the chance.

I asked Dave if he had plans/blueprints that he had worked from while making them. He said he worked from a template. As far as the lower grill goes, if you have access to one, he siad you can pretty much make an outline/copy of it as a template and have your own made. The upper grill is more difficult to make because of the many bends and angles in it.

Doug Foster made an upper and a lower grill insert for me (doster on this site) from braided stainless steel mesh (1/4 inch squares). It has held up better than the extruded aluminum that I got from Dave and I believe Doug will make them for others if you are interested. Give him a request by email. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

Thanks for the tip Bob, I will send him a PM. Do you have a clear pic you could post of the grill?

I could probably make one myself, but I have been pretty busy lately and I am just sick of looking at it.

I talked to Dave last month via e-mail. I need an upper grill to replace my damaged one. (deer crash ) Although Dave does not make them any more, he did give me some valuable info. that I will pass along.

Material is from www.mcmaster.com

Part # 9344T55

The buck mold for the upper is not available but Dave says " ...the form is not too tough to replicate. 1.5" thick with a 3/4" radius around the edge and a sweep that matches the front of the car."

I also met a company at SEMA named MRGRILLE.

www.mrgrille.com

They will custom supply a custom grill if provided with the size and bend. You simply cut it to fit at your "shop" and install. The silver, brushed, horizontal billet caught my eye and I am considering it as an option for the top and bottom grills. They also have a diamond mesh that may be similar to what Bob has.

comments?

Smokie...I have a brand new, still in plastic, OEM lower grill. No, it's not for sale...I just haven't had time to put in on yet, BUT, if you want to make a template... send me a note or e-mail. I've done some research on this subject as well...let's talk! I'm also not too far from you.

Thanks guys. I sent him an email and got on his waiting list. Perhaps if more of us were in need and sent emails he will hurry up the production.
