Can anybody how to remove my wiper motor? I blew the 30 amp fuse twice so I am reasonably certain there is a short in the motor. I want to remove it and have it tested and rebuilt if need be. I did not find anything I could use in a search. I have the gear assembly exposed and it looks to me that the fasteners are directly under the nylon gear. Is this right? I have been unable to remove the gear. It looks as though it should just pull off, exposing the bolts that hold the motor in, but I cannot move it. Is there a trick to removing this gear? Any help would be appreciated.
