Hello all,
I have a problem with my windshield wiper reservoir
leaking all and any fluid out. The pump was recently replaced by the previous owner. Now it is leaking. Seeing as I am located in Canada and winter has hit, I really need my washer fluid. (Yes, I am driving year round.)
So the problem is that all the service manuals I have found do not seem to go into a great amount of detail on how to get to the windshield washer reservoir/pump. I know that it is located in the passenger side, wheel well. I have removed the Pass. tire, and the covering inside the wheel well to expose where the reservoir is located.
Now how do I get it out now?
I also acquired the completes parts listing on hitech micro-film, and have the viewer for it. (Old technology, but has the completes part breakdown for the 968) As near as I can tell, I have to remove the side fender to fully expose the pump and reservoir. I have managed to get it down to all bolts removed, except one, that seems impossible to reach. The bolt is the top most bolt located on the inside of the wheel well, which is located behind the washer reservoir itself. I if I could remove the washer reservoir, I could get at the bolt, but I need to remove the bolt to get the washer reservoir out...round and round I go.
Any ideas? Am I totally missing something here? Am I going further than is needed?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
