As I'm watching some of the Wimbledon matches going on concurrent with various news stories covering the strict " all white " attire code imposed on players ( I think not even a color logo exceeding 1 cm in length or width is allowed and that includes the tennis shoes and their soles ! ) I had to shake my head at this ironic turn of events : Nick Kyrgios was asked to either get rid of his headband ( pictured below ) , or reverse it and wear the underside out because the colors will not show. So where is the irony, you ask ? Look at the headband stripes ; they're the official Wimbledon colors, and the band is sold right in the Wimbledon "pro shop " on the premises where Nick actually bough it ! LMAO, I'm not opposed to regulations which maintain some traditional decorum, but ...seriously ?! I wonder if the shop also sells large pliers which can be used to remove those sticks stuck straight up the officials asses.
