who dresses these people???
#1

i have been watching the campaigns with an eye slanted toward their presentations.  it amazes me that nobody tells these people what they look like.

trump

what the heck is up with that combover?  who does he think he's fooling with that?

lay off the instant tan cream already

sanders

somebody needs to tell him that when you stand up, you button your jacket, and when you sit down you unbutton it.

there is this thing called an iron.  perhaps using one now and again would be a good idea.

rubio

a little too much like an insurance salesman.  too primped

cruz

seriously?  does he get those suits from target?

finally - hillary

somewhere there is a room without drapes and chairs without slipcovers.  what the heck is up with all of her clothes looking like she robbed an upholstery shop?  5 of the same jacket, but all in different colors, and all horrible.

presentation is everything.  these people really could stand to look a little more like they deserve to be in the highest office in the land, and not greeting you at your local furniture outlet.  i know they are afraid to look too successful, or too groomed, but catering to the saturday morning bake sale crowd really doesn't sell it to those who actually understand the issues and care about what happens.  maybe it's cool with the undereducated redneck bunch, who think it's ok to wear socks with birkenstocks or huarache sandals, or flip flops nowhere near water, but while currently vocal, they are a small portion of the country.  is that really the image we want to send to the rest of the world?

I think Hillary is going to look fabulous in an orange pants suit when they send her to prison...

Glad that it's not just me who is bothered by these things. IMHO Sanders has some of the worst handlers imaginable.

Someone did an analysis of Trumps hair, it is not a comb over, he is not bald.  Problem is he is styling his hair as if he was still 17.  Most of us expect to see a little widows peak, etc even if you are not loosing your hair, you do uncover that a bit as you mature.

So looks weird.  If you think of his hair at 17 it looks normal (well boy cut on an old man normal)

Let thee among you without sin (fashion) cast the first stone. Rough crowd here. I'm happy to see the focus on the important things such as hair and attire. The rednecks may like the dress downs but they are also the angry electorate who may finally be enthused enough to vote.

In a society where most have embraced dumbing down because let's face it, it's easier, why is anyone surprised? I say we build a fence around the Middle East and only let those out who pay a fee and submit to a tracking chip. Think about all the room in their deserts that could be developed.

Nah, it's too easy. Criticizing any of those clowns on their appearance , poise, mannerisms , presidential caliber characteristics ( lack thereof in this case ) would be comparable to....umm... booing the performance of athletes at the Special Olympics. Yeah, something like that .

But I can't resist ..since this is a car forum, here it is :

In addition to dress and appearance, they all strike me as very creepy people as well.  Sanders gives me some inkling that he is a "real" person, but the rest of them are all phonies, just actors trying to act in some way that they think might be attractive to the population.  They aren't real people, they are not genuine or authentic.  They look creepy, they behave in odd ways, talk in odd ways, have odd faces; imagine each of them as your high school classmates, they would each have been without friends and we would have called them all a**holes.   It is sickening, where are the candidates who can actually gain the respect of the people?

I have to completely agree with Roland on this ; throughout past elections we have had a few candidates which perhaps many felt may not have been trustworthy, or lacking all the qualities and qualifications worthy of a President, or came across as a little boring ( Mondale ) or a little crazy even ( Ross Perot ) but at no time in recent memory have we had a majority of candidates which are downright CREEPY - and that's a perfect adjective IMO - this is the most bizarre campaign - circus freak show to date and if it's indicative of where the future of politics is heading, it's about as sad as it gets ..

As for a critique of the candidates attire , one disapproving look says it all :

Thinking some more about this, a past experience came to mind.  A few years ago, at a wedding (actually in Novato Dan), I sat with a couple of people who went to high school with Hillary in Wisconsin somewhere.  They both said she was quiet, in the background, uninteresting, and nobody really knew her.  I've seen now for 26 years what kind of person she is:  summed up as "will do anything for power"  (lie, cheat, steal).  I wouldn't be surprised if there is some resentful little girl inside of her who never got the admiration of her classmates and now she wants to take revenge.

Did any of you see what Cruz's college roommate had to say about him? Creepy was about the kindest thing he said.
