Dave, you said "...always have the front wheels pointed at the photographer, not the tire." ??? Every time I've tried to point my front wheels at something other than the tire, I get a flat.

I can see how that could be a problem. Perhaps you need to change the tire bearing grease.

[quote name='lee' date='Mar 14 2006, 08:35 PM']Hi Chris,

Great pictures and car. I noticed the small chin cap on the front of your car. Is that a stock piece? I tried a chin spoiler but, due to the low clearance in the front, it didn't last long. The cap on your car gives the front a nice finished appearance.

Lee - thanks - I think it's a great car too (but I am just a bit biased!). On the chin cap do you mean the small grill? If so that's a fine 968 Engineering product that can be found here:

It does really "finish" the look of the front. Also check out the silver version on Brian's car (SILVY968) - also looks very sharp.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the response Chris. The piece I'm referring to runs along the bottom edge of the front bumper cap. Brian's car does not appear to have the piece that is on your car. The part seems to attach to the same location as the front chin spoiler.

I have 968engineering's grill insert and it looks great. I just added european trun signal lens. They really dress up the front of the car. Next to the air box modification, I think the turn signal lens are the next best modification.

Take care,

Lee

That was there when I bought her - so am not sure - but I think original.

The european signals are on my list of to-dos, as is the air box mod. I have a long list - luckily by choice though!
