I bought my 968 coupe in 2009 after previously owning a 924S and a 944. My 968 was great until 2016 when the timing belt broke. A buddy of mine who is a top Porsche technician had been coming to my garage to rebuild the engine. Unfortunately, he has become unable to make the time to complete the job. All the new valves are in and he estimated that there is about another 12 hours of work to finish up.
At this point, I'm trying to find either someone else who could come here to complete the job or a good shop that I could get her towed to with all the parts to be put back together.
