New member greetings
#1

Hi, forum members. I'm the proud new 2nd owner of a guards red, '94,6spd coupe. Lifelong enthusiast with a '58 speedster, 83 911SC and lots of past Porsches. Should have lots of pictures to follow but here's the first one I had avail. Cheers! hmmm... can't seem to figure out how to load a picture. Better go back and read the instructions.

Okay, I get it. Looking forward to joining the community. And thanks for the early welcomes! My first few days with the car have been great as I rediscovered the wonderfully balanced feel of these cars. I had an '84 944 for several years that I loved for that reason. The ergonomics of the cabin work for my body really well. Everything falls easily to hand. I've been driving a 911SC for the last 9 years and to say the two are completely different experiences is a gross understatement.

My first bit of maintenance was to order and replace rear control arm bushing due to ps fluid leakage and subsequent damage to that bushing. 15 minute job. Nice and easy. Clean up of the ps lines in the area to begin narrowing down the leaks. (not bad but have been leaking some for a long time it appears) I know the answer will be probably be "do a search" but is anyone willing to make suggestions on preferred coolant for our cars? I need to add some to adjust what appears to be now be a mostly water mix. Haven't had to think about coolant for a long time!

Doing some tire shopping and wondering what the group thinks of stock 16 vs 17 inch wheels for daily driving.

Cheers, Sean
