Stolen RUF BTR III - Eindhoven - The Netherlands
#1

Ik know this is a bit off for the 968 forum - but as Porsche enthausiastic I can not just let this go without passing it on to the rest of the world.

A fellow member of the Dutch Porsche Forum has got is car stolen - It's a RUF BTR III.
The cars has not been unknown - since it has been at Top Gear.

Someone broke into the house (Eindhoven - The Netherlands) and managed to find the car-keys - while the owner was on holiday in Portugal.
The car was taken sometime between Wednesday September 16th and Sunday September 20th - 2009.

Model: Ruf BTR III
License plate: 13-HFN-2
chassis No. W09TA2345LPR06004
Engine No.: BTR 34 094 M
Colour: Indisch rood POR 027 met zwarte dak

Purely a coincidence that I was in the southern part of The Netherlands at the exact time this car disappeared, and that I left on Monday September 21st.

A horrible thing.
More than likely broken up for parts with some going on the thiefs car.

Coloradocab - Is it very hot inside those containers?

Seriously, after this, I am going to have to pass on the planned feature for my 968. Sorry Top Gear, but just look what happened to the RUF.
