Video of WGI lap of 2:15.4 with a passenger
#1

I just graduated to open track with Trackmasters, so I was able to take my friend Bob out in the car with me.

It was a blast following John in his Lotus. I put a short shifter in the day before the event, it's real nice however it took a little getting use too as you'll see on the 3rd lap where I hit 5th instead of 3rd.

Hey, Gary, thanks for the great video. Your lap times and speeds certainly give me a sense of how far I have to go. Can you tell us anything about how your car is set up? I'm running a full street version (although not completely stock in terms of suspension), so maybe I'll feel better if all of the difference is not simply your better driving.

Also - the camera view and instrumentation are great. Where is the camera mounted? Tell us more, please.

Hey Jim, the front camera is mounted on the passenger side front down tube of the roll cage and the rear is mounted on the roof where the antenna use to be.

My cars weighes in at 3070lbs with me in it, it has 219.4 WHP and 205 lbs of torque. PMR had set the car up for the previous

owner with cross coilovers and racers edge control arms. They got the alignment and balance set up for me now which helps. Previously with the old alignment my best lap was 2:16.5 and 131mph coming up to the bus stop. However my best TBL lap is 2:14.6 so I still have a ways to go to be totally consistant around the track.

I will be at NJMP today probably by 6.30pm, what time are you going?

Gary
