So I'm on my way to the shore driving thru Phillie in the rain on 676 and someone ahead on me breaks for some reason. Liz who is directly ahead of me uses a trick she has watched me use in these situations and does a quick out to the right lane to miss the car in front of her and then come back in her lane. I break, don't slam in to Liz and waggle my car, like your warming your tires up on the track, to give the driver behind me a heads up to pay attention, and then look in my rear view mirror. This car still has it on unlike the 968 which ive yet to fix and watch as the car behind me plows into me without breaking. Meanwhile a multiple car accident occurs behind us which leaves cars strewn over the highway. My bumper got somewhat popped out on both sides but other than a trunk which looks bent, unbelievably enough no damage. So far the trunk works but will have to be repaired. My 9 year old granddaughter was with me. Neither of us were hurt but her response when I asked her right after getting hit if she was ok was, " I think I am but I'm going into shock." I tried not to laugh because she was scared and upset and told her it might be a little to fast. I needed the laugh. We have sent her to a private school and the stuff this kid knows today boggles my mind! I didn't even know what shock was at 9. Then she tells me she felt really bad for me because I was in an accident with my new car. Kids can make life worth it! So hopefully the rest of vacation will be uneventful.
