Up-Fixen-der-Porsche issues available
#1

If you hadn't seen this in the current issue of Pano...

PCA is going to clear out their stock of Up-Fixen-der-Porsche for shipping and handling costs only.

I bought a set (volumes 6 through 11) to cover my 944/968 experience a few years back.

Any interested parties should jump on this before they're all gone. I think you can e-mail the PCA administrative office to arrange.

Just thought I'd share.

Dave,

Can you explain a little further? I'm not familiar with Up-Fixen-der-Porsche. Thanks!

Jon - Yes, I shouldn't have been so cryptic.

Up-Fixin der Porsche is a collection of technical articles from Panorama (official magazine of the PCA). It's been compiled into a number of volumes covering specific publication years. I asked for it as a holiday gift once when I had my 944. I've referered to the 944/968 info quite a few times since.

In the latest issue of Pano, they state that PCA will no longer be publishing the hard copy sets and will let existing sets go for cost of shipping and handling. I think I had paid about $80 for the set that I have.

I asked the PCA national administrator about it the other day and she replied that complete sets will be provided until they are all gone. It's a useful tool for nuts like ourselves.

Anyway, the person I e-mailed was Diana Tringali, Executive Secretary at dtringali@pcanational.org.

Does this help?

Below is an email I received from a member on another site.....

"The PCA will stop producing new hardcopy volumes of Up-Fixin and have

decided to get rid of the remaining lot (approximately 900 sets) for

only the shipping & handling (about $25USD) charge or you can pick up a

complete set (11 volumes & index) at the Springfield corporate office

to avoid the shipping charges. The telephone number to order is

703/451-9000."
