Hi Folks,
The website went down yesterday around 3:00 PM EDT.
As it turns out, the version of our software was 2 generations old, this has been upgraded to the latest version.
Also, our security certificate had expired, this has now been resolved and the site is now SSL secured. (You should see our certificate on the search bar when you log in and the website will show https
. We have almost no issues with SPAM due to our new member requirements.
I notice that the look has changed just a little, but if you notice anything changed significantly, or missing information, please let me know and I'll work to get it cleaned up.
Thanks for all of your support. I intend to keep this site up and running (and free) for as long as I possible.

Hi
the site is not using the SSL certificate
The web page at
https://www.968forums.com/ might be temporarily down or it may
you can only see the cert if connect over SSL, and you cant connect over SSL,
little more configuration needed

I'll work on the SSL on Monday, the tech assured me he had initialized it, and that it would auto-update,
