Thinking of ditching all mine.



When the cage was installed they had to weld to the wheel arches and obviously the underseal burnt off.



How thick is this stuff. Jees!



Must be quite a bit of weight over the entire car?



Has your's been removed Eric? Jason?



It can't be as bad as the interior glue to get off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Heat gun and scraper?

P.S. Car's on the ramp and ready for interior prepping ( more work!)



Then to the spray shop!



The only problem is I keep finding bits that I think well, may as well do it now whilst its accesible. It's nearly down to a bare shell now!



I may get on track this year! Hopefully!

I've removed all this stuff before and it took a lot of work with a heat gun and scraper. It sucked frankly. On the interior floor pan, I used a heat gun and then solvent soaked rag to get the final stuff off. About 28 lbs in my 1988 944 TS. See pics. All necessary for a 2400 lb racecar. I doubt I'd bother on anything else.



Don't even ask me about the horrible panel fit of the GT fiberglass...

Mine is still on...I gave up on the interior glue, too.



I know, I'm a quitter!



I just couldn't do it correctly, so I put in light weight carpeting to finish it off.
