My mechanic's DE car

...and he just *HAD* to get in. Made Daddy proud! Anyways, this is my mechanic's DE racer. I'd love to get in this thing for real one weekend.

Yeah, he also has two "real" track cars (read: single-seaters), but one was in its trailer and the other has parts all over the place... but the last one they have is a 944-turned 951-turned rocketship on 4 wheels. When I asked him if it was street legal he said, "Well, it was registered before any work was done to it, so I guess yeah. Technically it's street legal. I wouldn't want to get stopped driving it though!" Apparently they have a customer who has too much cash on his hands, bought a low-milage N/A, turbo-ed it, RS-ed it... dropped between $90-100K in the thing and then ran it once. Now it sits in the same warehouse-garage as the car above in the picture. Not fair. If I had $100K to just throw around... Man...
