There has been record swells and surf today. I guess everyone has their winter plague and here is mine. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Here is a snap that shows the drama. Normally there is 2 to 3 foot surf at this beach. It was about 20 + today. Oh the humanity....... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Big surf makes an incredible sound, kinda like bombs in the distance.

I lived in Hawaii for a while and you could hear the big surf from miles away.

there was a really weird very heavy fog today all along the coast - wish i had a camera - it was very surreal - the surfers were all out there - the surf was great - but, you couldn't see more than about 20 yards out
