Roland,

Thanks; I'm looking forward to it. Now that it's been a few weeks since your son took the course, does he feel like he retained much of it and is a better driver as a result? And as far as the course itself, did he have fun, or did he find much of it to be boring or tedious? Thanks.

hi Cloud,

I'd say generally the answer is yes, he retained some of the lessons. That is .... as far as a 19 year "know it all" is willing to admit . So for example the 968 fun run we had weekend, he did 1/2 of the driving. Rxter was in the lead, and my son had to work at it to keep up. As the passenger I was freaking out, but he did well. His driving, and my wife as well, have very choppy driving, whereas my style is much more smooth. But I asked him if during the run he recalled some of the survival school lessons and he said yes, some. I can't recall any part of the Survival School day where he complained of being bored or upset about anything.

Great Suggestion. They are coming to Portland in September. This sounds like a great opportunity and for only 75$ I'm signing my son up.

Feedback - great school.

I took a separate car. On the way there, my son was following me and skids all over the place on a corner. He almost hits the concrete barrier. He definitely needed the school. I watched him for awhile. He had a great instructor. He came home bragging about how well he did and how he was ready for the next time his car skids out.

Thanks for the advice.
