the New NSX
#1

I did not think the new NSX was out yet, but I could swear I saw one today..because I can't imagine what other car that would have been ..( I 'm pretty well in tune with the shape / style of all of the exotics out there, and this was completely new to me ) It was across the street, going in the opposite direction and I was not in a spot where I could have done a u-turn ( without ripping the underside of my car to shreds ;-). ) to check it out up close. So are they out and being sold already ?!

Did it sound like an air cooled 4 cylinder engine

I thought I read that they're not due to be out for a couple more years, but I could be wrong...

Acura says it will be a 2015 production car so perhaps we will start seeing them late 2014.

Possible it was a McLaren MP4-12C?

Nope, I've seen the new McLaren already, and very close up, in the dealer lot. That was not it. Dammit, this is going to bug me for days on end now, I have no idea what that car was. Looked like a combo between a Ferrari Stradale in the front and an NSX in the rear ( the McLaren also does share some of those lines..) but this car was much longer and wider than the MP4 .

Can't imagine it could have been an NSX - they haven't even produced a prototype yet - the one showed at the recent car shows was a mock-up which didn't even have an interior. Wonder what it could have been... A chupacarbra, perhaps

Maybe that was Flash out testing one of those projects he's trying to wrap up?

Blau a McLaren dealer recently opened up on PCH in Newport. I'll have to check out that new MP4!

There's also a new Fisker showroom in Irvine near the Y and Tesla signage on a former highline dealership also on PCH in Newport, but no cars in it yet...

Was it a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta?

Probably not... but I just saw this video tonight and had to mention it.

WOW! That is one sexy car!

By the way, who else here looks at videos on the Streetfire site?

The front could have passed for a F 12 ( I had to search images for that one ) but not the rear..it was a bit more complex than Ferrari's clean tail. Actually, pretty close to the McLaren's tail with an elevated spoiler but without those ugly fish gills on the sides which the MP has, and like I said..significantly bigger than the McLaren. Maybe it was a kit car.
