THE MIDDLE EAST GEOGRAPHY QUIZ....
#1

This is more than challenging – it’s humiliating. No wonder I don’t understand what’s going on over there…..

Drag the country's name onto the map. There is no humbling score nor time limit, but rather this exercise is a learning tool. Don't be afraid to make an error, and once you finish the puzzle, you will be far more educated about this very intense part of our world. You can right-click and hit zoom in or out to get the smaller ones.

Very cool. I knew the location of the better known countries, but places like Uzbekistan and Tajikstan were tough! Thanks for posting.

one of my strongest subjects ( thanks to elementary and middle school education in europe ) and even though there have been quite a few changes since then, by virtue of independence/separation as well as name changes, fundamentally I still knew enough to place all except three of them in their proper spot on the first try

btw... " western sahara " ?! when TF did that become a new nation ?

Yea... I had trouble recognizing Western Sahara too. I recently went to Morocco and all their maps don't recognize Western Sahara as an independent state, either.

The former Soviet Union was tough -- it used to be all one color when I was in school. And I also messed up Oman and Yemen -- I could never tell the difference between those two...
