Steph or no Steph  I'm afraid  LeBron will  ( regretfully, perhaps  ) simply and effortlessly annihilate this team, scraping Steph and the rest off the bottom of his shoe during the series .   It's like Tyson fighting Paquiao .   In a different " league " altogether..  Or maybe it's like Barcelona led by Mesi  playing against the San Jose Earthquakes led by.. well, it does not matter who they're led by, lol.. Yeah, its a team sport but we all know one single person can make all the difference .

And I have no bias just because I'm still a Clevelander deep down, I'm not a LeBron fan, but cant deny that he is the most dominant player in NBA history, not the all-time best ( though many experts claim he is ) but the most dominant ..

No point bothering watching any of the games until the last 30 seconds of any given one of them ...not dissimilar from baseball to which there is also no point watching any of it until the bottom of the 9th with two outs and the score tied . But this has been covered before, baseball is NOT a sport , and NOT played by athletes, so pretty much like golf..

Well, that's just IMHO ( yeah the "H" is debatable .) Let's be careful though on the NBA acronym interpretations, there are some very inflammatory ones out there ...

If  LeBron is that good, it's a wonder the Cavs didn't go 82-0!  Sure.

Watch the whole game - the Warriors are the rare example of a true "team", a thing of beauty.  Warriors in six (I really think 5, but I'm giving respect to LeBron).

Most dominant in NBA history?  Has to be Wilt.  He averaged 50 pts/gm 1 time, over 40 1 time, over 30 7 times.  LeBron has averaged 30 or more just 1 time.

So who's watching CL final today ? Most experts call Barca-Juve a total mismatch and that it's entirely Barca's match to lose ; they would have to fall apart and Juve would have to have their best day . Hmmm, the same thought I had about Cavaliers vs Warriors and we see how well my theory worked out LMAO. ( I may have to buy Bill a drink after the series ..) Just shows you how much of a difference the bench can make in B-ball, but in soccer , while important as well, the subs cap limits that potential impact. So it's essentially a lineup of superstars against ...Pirlo . :-) Ok, and against Buffon, ranked as the world's best goalkeeper. But one can do only so much against what is arguably the most formidable attacking force of our generation . Slim chance for Juve I guess but stranger things have happened ...and besides, just six or seven set plays / free kicks by Pirlo could level the match - come on refs, let's make this exciting for the spectators !!

O.K., so I was awakened this morning at 8:20 by a call from State Farm to arrange an appraisal of the scrape someone in a parking lot left on the passenger front fender of my 968. That is early for me on a Saturday. I wasn't fully awake when I posted. At least I was up to hear a new member of the closing car talk credits: The manager of their nightclub/caberet is Don Kashane. (Somewhere Wayne Newton is smiling).

Tomorrow will make it 2-0. Go Warriors!

Ugh, sorry to hear - scrapes even on cars that are not treasured are annoying and frustrating , when it happens to one of our 968s, it pains ALL of us , collectively.

Today my country played a friendly game in France: 3-4 for Belgium. Two (very) late goals from the French somewhat takes away the 'sparkle' of our victory, but after dominating the match for 80+ minutes, it looks very promising next friday when we have to play the EC qualifying game in Wales!

It's well known that watching soccer is a form of mental illness.

Well, soccer IS a religion, it has the single largest cult following in the world so....yeah .

p.s.  But Apple is slowly moving into a close 2nd place in terms of global cults following, so maybe they're serving better Kool-Aid than you can buy at soccer stadiums.   Apple; it's the new mental illness
