I am a 22 year member of PCA and past president of the Finger Lakes Region. Before yesterday, I’ve owned a 912, a Boxster S and three 911’s. I sold the last 911 (a 997.2) 2 years ago. We moved to South West Florida in June and I recognized I was now in a more collector car friendly climate than my former home in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY. After searching for and reviewing ads for 968 cabs off & on for several months, we drove to to Boca Raton yesterday to see an exceptionally well maintained 1993 968 cab. Guards Red over black, off course. We made a quick decision and completed the purchase by 4 PM and drove west across Florida to our Gulf coast home. I won’t spend much time with my “new toy” until April, as we spend the 4 winter months in the Keys.
