Sorry to keep bringing problems up.



Something's happened now where I am auto-subscribed to any thread I post in and get emails announcing every response. I can't turn this off globally, and have to navigate through several pages and select topics to unsubscribe. I've done this twice today already.



Again, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this needs to be fixed ASAP.

Click on the My Controls link up top on the right side. Once in there in the menu down the left side of the screen is a subscriptions category. In there you can see all your subscriptions and unsubsribe them from there. It's possible your subscription is set to the whole forum.

I had done what Bandit suggested a couple of times before posting here intially: it didn't help.



But now the flood seems to have abated. We'll see. I have forwarded my emails to Flash's gmail account.



ON EDIT: I think part of this is that there's a checkbox at the bottom of the page where one makes a post or reply, it's autochecked to notify on subsequent posts.



This used to make no difference: emails weren't actually sent out. I could visit the page banditsc references, and see that I was "subscribed" to [/i]scores[i] of threads, but I never got any emails from this.



Now apparently that's been 'fixed' and emails are being sent.



Is there a pref to turn off that default notify checkbox? In general I prefer to "View New Posts" at my own pace rather than subscribe to email updates here.
