I just bought these from Car Care Specialties; anyone used them before? I will have to wait for warm weather to do the job.

I used RAGGTOPP. It worked pretty well. Was kindof a PITA to apply the waterproof part as I had to cover the paint.

Waterproofing went great, the fabric is in really good shape, but the top two inches across the back plastic window is badly scratched almost like someone used a fine scotchbrite pad. Meguiar's plastic window polish couldn't get them out. I'll have to try a little more aggressive polish with the PC7424...

Waterproofing the top? I've never even considered that. We certainly get our share of rain in the winter around here (S.F. Bay Area) and I don't have a garage, but I've never had any problems with the roof on my Cab leaking. Is this another solution for which there is no real problem?

I used RaggTopp on my Boxster and it was really easy to use and worked very well at cleaning then repelling water. I just put a towel over the deck lid and wiped off what fell on the rest of the car with a detailed and microfiber cloth.

The only thing I have every heard of working on oil stains is Dawn Dishwashing Liquid, try a bit on a hidden area before you do it on a more exposed area.

I cleaned and waterproofed my top with the 303 convertible fabric cleaner/water proof kit. Worked perfect. Just make sure to mask off all painted areas. I also used Mother's plastic lens cleaner for the rear window. I was surprised how well that worked as well.
